In 2008, Vietnam's economy - society faced with many great changes, both in domestic and international context. Vietnam was in the process of accelerating international economic integration when joining the World Trade Organization (WTO). The application of market economy brought many new opportunities and challenges. This is an important turning point, because promoting trade liberalization and international integration have helped Vietnam narrow the gap between export activities and the concentration of foreign direct investors (FDI) to Vietnam is also reinforced by this accession.
In the early days of 2008, the economy was promoting investment and development with many changes in regulations and new policies, the BoDs of RSM Vietnam, formerly DTL, decided to cooperate with Dai Duong Xanh Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company - a company founded by a group of 4 veteran auditors who were managers from VACO-Deloitte, and decided to choose Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - an tremendous experienced auditor, who graduated with a Master's degree from the University of Sydney, Australia, worked as the director of DTL - Hanoi Office, with belief in people, in a thriving audit, tax and consulting market in the future.
Since our establishment in January 2008, RSM Hanoi has continuously developed the business as well as enhanced our expertise and service quality to meet the increasing demands of businesses. In just a short period of time, RSM Hanoi has made impressive development not only in Hanoi but also expanding to the entire Northern region.
In 2012, RSM Hanoi, along with RSM Vietnam officially became a member of RSM International network. RSM International is ranked 6th among global audit and consulting groups with a current network of 860 offices in over 123 countries with more than 51,000 employees.
2019 marked an important milestone when RSM Hanoi decided to invest in an A-class office, meeting RSM standards, located on the 25th floor, Discovery Complex building, 302 Cau Giay, Hanoi. This is an important long-term investment of RSM Hanoi Office for a 10-year future vision.
In 2022, after 3 years with Covid 19 pandemic, RSM Hanoi have had a successful financial year, together with RSM Vietnam, conquering the 6th position in Vietnamese audit market. This year is also the 15th anniversary of RSM Hanoi, transitioning from a period of sustainable development to rapid development and has affirmed its position in the Vietnamese audit market.
Strategy 2023 – 2030: Take Charge of Change
Despite being affected by the pandemic, RSM Hanoi has achieved a revenue of more than VND 50 billion in 2022 and a development strategy of VND 280 billion by 2030. We believe that, with clear goals and action plans, we will achieve success as planned.
